ABOUT OUR MEMBERS
As a Cooperative House, the members of Shoemaker run all aspects of the house. This includes everything from overseeing house finances to completing weekly cooking and cleaning duties. Shoemaker stresses the importance of developing excellence in all facets of life through various house activities and incentives. Together, we both maintain the house and better our own lives.
Shoemaker is an academically diverse and driven house, with members from numerous colleges including business, engineering, agriculture, education, pharmacy, and many more. We prioritize academics through study hours and in-house scholarship awards. Each semester we also host an academic dinner to recognize our hardworking members.

ACADEMICS
Philanthropy and community engagement are also stressed at Shoemaker. Members must participate in both a house-sponsored philanthropy event and personal philanthropies of their choice. Examples of this include volunteering at the food bank, walking dogs at the animal shelter, and hosting shoe drives.
PHILANTHROPY

Members at Shoe also participate in intramural sports including flag football, volleyball, basketball, and more. We always enjoy playing sports with members of other cooperative houses. Shoemaker members also participate in social functions, including tailgating with Football Buddies, Barn Dance, Pixie Week, Spring Formal, and Grand Prix.
